MOHIT HOSPITAL, brain child of Dr Arun K Jain (MD), was incepted in the year 1986 with the sole intention of providing Ethical & Affordable treatment to mankind. Since then, the hospital has continued to strive in the direction and has successfully provided medical services to the people from all walks of life. Initially the hospital was started with 12 bed General Hospital, providing treatment service to people of Borivali and Northern Suburbs of Mumbai. Patients coming from all over Mira Road, Dahisar and other localities of Mumbai have benefited with the services provided by Mohit Hospital.
The Faith & Trust shown by the people in our hospital, has kept us motivated in providing best and affordable treatment. We have completed 35 years in the services, providing best medical health and improvise human life & health in total.
With the advancement in the field of Medical Science and the quest for providing advanced and newer treatment to our patients, the hospital was expanded to 24 bed hospital in the year 2000. The motto was of setting up ONE STOP HEALTH CARE CENTRE. Newer services like ICU, Operation Theatre and other Specialties apart from General Medicine, like General Surgery, Orthopaedics were added. Diagnostic Services were also Started comprising Of X Rays, Colour Doppler, 2d echography and Pathology laboratory.
In our continuous efforts of providing latest treatment and facilities, the operation theatre has been upgraded to Modular OT with Hermetic sealed door and Laminar airflow to keep up with the current standards and the XRay system has been upgraded to digital in order to provide more accurate diagnosis.
Physiotherapy clinic has also been started, as it plays a very important role in rehabilitation of patients.
Recently our hospital has also got entry level NABH accreditation.
